Denis: "1984 was a brutal winter in New York state - and Canada where this picture was taken. No-one was particularly well dressed for the weather, and this image manages to sum it up. Also included is the band's plane and limousines, which add to a snapshot of touring life. John inscribed on an original vintage print: "for all the downs ..." which was featured in my Careless Memories book."
