Denis: "David and his band visited Hansa Studios in East Berlin to record backing vocals during the 1987 Glass Spider tour. I went up to the room where David had looked out over the Berlin Wall whilst being inspired to write and record the track 'Heroes'. I suggested that we go down to the wall to take a few pictures. The area was barren and desolate, and we were unaware that within two years the wall would fall. When I returned to Hansa in 2018 it was on a street of modern office blocks."
