It was here that I finally told David that his Ziggy Stardust performance at Hammersmith Odeon in July 1973 had inspired me to take up rock photography - to which he responded "You'll probably say that to Bono tomorrow". I had also been influenced by Jimmy Page playing 'Dazed & Confused' with Led Zeppelin at Alexandra Palace in December 1972. At least Jimmy believed me when I got around to telling him at Olympic Studios over forty years later in 2013!"
