Denis: "One of the first pictures I ever took of David Bowie offstage, outside Olympic Studios in Barnes, west London during the recording of Diamond Dogs (tapes are under his arm)". The phone box in the background is still there. The studios are now Olympic Cinema, private club and restaurant. This was the first time that I'd seen David in person since his penultimate Ziggy Stardust concert at Hammersmith Odeon the year before.
